I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, which is based on the premise that dysfunctional thinking causes unpleasant emotional reactions and painful feelings. The goal of therapy is to learn to recognize and change these dysfunctional thoughts. Therapy is a collaborative effort where the goals are accomplished as a team.
